Sustainable Supply Chain’s Role in Economy
Main Article Content
Abstract
Sustainable supply chains integrate environmental, social, and economic responsibilities to minimize ecological impact, ensure ethical labor practices, and maintain long-term profitability. Transitioning to green manufacturing, eco-friendly logistics, and circular economy models allows businesses to reduce carbon footprints and optimize waste management. Implementing these practices requires supplier collaboration, transparency, and strict adherence to global standards, despite challenges like high initial costs and complex networks. Ultimately, adopting sustainable supply chain management is no longer optional but a strategic imperative. It ensures regulatory compliance, builds brand trust, and guarantees business resilience while fostering a healthier planet and an equitable global economy.
