Dr. Mahesh M. is an academician, researcher, and publisher with a strong commitment to multilingual academic dissemination and scholarly excellence. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Kannada at the Christ Academy Institute of Law (CAIL) in Bengaluru.

Publishing and Editorial Leadership:
Since October 2022, Dr. Mahesh has been the driving force behind AKSHARASURYA (E-ISSN: 2583-620X), serving as its Publisher and Journal Manager. Under his leadership, this online, peer-reviewed, and multilingual journal has fostered diverse academic discourse. Combining his academic background with technical proficiency, he independently designed and developed the journal's platform using Open Journal Systems (OJS) software. Through his meticulous management, the journal has successfully secured indexing in prominent databases including the ISSN Portal, Google Scholar, ABCD Index, and SUDOC.

Academic Background:
Dr. Mahesh holds a Ph.D. from Bangalore University. He earned his Master of Arts in Kannada from The National College, Basavanagudi, graduating with distinction. Additionally, he has qualified for the prestigious University Grants Commission (UGC) Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and the National Eligibility Test (NET).

Teaching and Research Contributions:
With an extensive teaching career spanning multiple esteemed institutions, including the Central University of Kerala, BMS College of Law, and St. Joseph’s College of Law, Dr. Mahesh has supervised numerous postgraduate dissertations and guided emerging scholars in cultural and literary studies.

A prolific writer and editor, he has published several research papers on topics ranging from social justice to literature in recognised journals. He has also edited six books and has contributed book chapters to various academic publications.
